If you love glamour, art deco and pearls – then this workshop making a is for you.  No prior experience is necessary to complete this workshop and beginners are welcome!

On the day you will be provided with a step by step guide on how to make and utilise bead links; – an essential technique for any jeweller or bead smith – to create a gorgeous opera length tassel necklace.  All necessary tools and materials are provided and Evanthea will be with you to give you all the insider tips and tricks that you only get from years of experience.

While you are busy creating we will serve you a delicious morning tea and also lunch.

You will come away with an opera length (+90cm) tassel necklace made in sterling silver, featuring a stunning baroque flame ball focal pearl, unique keshi pearls and faceted semi-precious stones such as pyrite and spinel. We will be using white/cream pearls of a high lustre, sterling silver chain and wire and your choice of faceted pyrite or faceted spinel rondelle beads.

This workshop does require a lot of fine hand and eye work, so please come with an up to date glasses prescription (if you wear glasses) and fingernails that are not excessively long.
