Ralph Lauren and other Paris Highlights
There are 3 things I am excited to share with you this week from my stay in this famous city; one – my lunch at Ralph Lauren, two – Treasure Hunting in Paris, and three – the most lovely and unexpected snowfall.
Ralph Lauren is inspiring with a simple theme that you will find in many successful businesses – dedication to detail. The building that houses this globally loved brand has been restored and maintained with the utmost care and perfection, just like everything that Ralph Lauren touches. It is a must see when visiting Paris. We came for lunch and the service, quality, and care was outstanding. I felt endlessly inspired. Lunch at Ralph’s was delicious as was the décor, furnishings and atmosphere. I just loved it, can’t you tell?
Here are some photos of the courtyard garden, the store, the windows and more.
Oh was I ever in heaven at the St Ouen Marches au Puces Clignancourt! Are you surprised at all? This market is dedicated to the sale of antiques and nostalgic trinkets. There is nothing like shopping for history in a city so rich in it! For some context, Australia has been a country for just over 200 years, Paris has been a city for just under 1000 (ok well at least since the end of the 3rd Century). Imagine all the stories and items to get lost in from one little shop to the next. The excitement of it was overwhelming for me. It was great to shop for treasure to bring back to Blake & Taylor as well. Of course, I can’t keep it all to myself. Keep your eyes on the newsletters so you know when items will be available in store for you. I hope you enjoy the photos.
Finally, the most magical thing happened during our stay – It snowed for one full day and here are some photos for you to enjoy. It was so beautiful to watch it fall all day long and create a totally different landscape in front of our eyes. Just divine. I hope you enjoy.
Au Revoir for now from Paris.
